The invention relates to a solar collector with a high operational safety. Said solar collector comprises a shading unit (7), which is at least partially situated in the collector housing (1). This prevents the shading unit (7) from being attacked by gusts of wind. Preferably, the entire shading unit (7) is situated in the sealed collector housing (1). The solar collector can be assembled as one piece and there is no further assembly work required for the shading unit. The latter (7) comprises a film, which if necessary can be stretched over the front face (3a) of the absorber, thus shading the absorber (3) and preventing overheating. The film can also be configured as a continuous film. |
