In order to increase the serviceable life of molds produced by cross-linking a siliconized elastomer by a polycondensation reaction, an additive is used that is capable of stabilizing the siliconized elastomer constituting the mold with regard to materials to be molded, this additive being selected from the group consisting of: (a) at least one symmetric polysulfide silane; (b) at least one poly(alkylphenol sulfide), and; (c) at least one alkyl thiuram sulfide. |
