SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING LOUDNESS AUTOMATICALLY

An automatic loudness control system and a method thereof are provided to obtain the optimum music circumstance by automatically applying a loudness curve to fit an output level of speaker. A noise is radiated through a speaker(510). The noise signal outputted from the speaker is received at a microphone(520). An average sound pressure level of sound outputted from the microphone is calculated(530). An optimal loudness control curve among the previous stored loudness control curve data based on the calculated average sound pressure level is selected(540). The selected loudness control curve is applied to an inputted audio signal and compensates the signal properties to the selected loudness control curve(550). An optimized audio signal is radiated through the speaker(560).
