CIRCUIT ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A PULSED POWER SUPPLY

A regulating variable is weighted. An electronic switch (S1) is switched on by a control signal for the duration of an on-time and switched off for the duration of an off-time. A control unit (SE) terminates the on-time if the control signal's time integral is greater in amount than the weighted regulating variable. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a device for operating a high-pressure gas discharge lamp; (B) a pulsed current supply.
