<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering noble metals from noble metal-containing waste brick generated during the repair, dismantling or the like of a smelting furnace and a melting furnace for treating raw materials containing noble metals. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for recovering noble metals from noble metal-containing waste brick, a noble metal-containing magnesia based waste brick is pulverized into≤20 mm, and is melted together with a solvent (calcium carbonate and silicon oxide), lead oxide or lead and a reducing agent, and the noble metals are absorbed into the lead, so as to recover the noble metals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
