PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document processing system for managing the career or whereabouts of a document by tracing them, and for improving convenience. SOLUTION: In this document processing system, a document processor 10 defines a document associated with processing regulation information for specifying processing whose execution has to be regulated among processing for a document as the object of processing, and decides whether or not processing instructed by a user is processing regulated according to the processing regulation information associated with the document, and transmits the information relating to the result of decision to an information management database 20 for registering it, and the information registered in the information management database 20 is subjected to predetermined processing.
