PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a curable composition for providing a prepreg having excellent heat resistance, oil resistance, weather resistance, chemical resistance and water resistance. SOLUTION: The curable composition for a prepreg comprises (A) a vinyl-based polymer that has two or more groups represented by general formula (1) -OC(O)C(R<SP>a</SP>)=CH<SB>2</SB>(R<SP>a</SP>is a hydrogen atom or a 1-20C organic group) per molecule and one or more groups represented by the general formula (1) at a molecular terminal in the groups, (B) an initiator and (C) a reinforcing fiber as essential components.
