PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable cipher communication with more stations without increasing the storage capacity of a storage means in a MAC part for storing a cipher key of a radio device. SOLUTION: A CPU 21 decides whether a MAC address of a received packet matches a MAC address of a station to which a cipher key stored in an internal memory 22 is assigned or whether a cipher key in an external memory 23 matches the MAC address of the station to which the stored cipher key is assigned. When the cipher key stored in the external memory 23 matches the MAC address of the station to which the cipher key is assigned, a cipher key of the station as the transmission source of the packet is replaced with the specified cipher key stored in the internal memory 22.
