PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preserving method which enables exhibition of a stabilized insect pest controlling effect even after storing an insect pest controlling agent holding an insect pest controlling component on a paper base material for a long period. SOLUTION: The method of preserving an insect pest controlling agent comprises covering an insect pest controlling agent holding an insect pest controlling component on a paper base material with an aluminum foil and can exhibit a stabilized insect pest controlling effect even after long-term storage.
