PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat slide device of a vehicle capable of common use of a lower rail and an upper rail irrespective of the configuration of the inner lock or the configuration of the outer lock. SOLUTION: Four sets of through holes opened in an upper rail 2 are formed as the through holes 35a-35d, 37a-37d in the longitudinal direction of the upper rail 2 while the through holes formed at the positions corresponding to an upper side wall part 2b and an upwardly bent part 2a are defined as one set. On the other hand, a plurality of sets of through holes 36, 38 are formed along the longitudinal direction of the lower rail 1 while the through holes formed in the lower rail 1 at the position corresponding to a lower side wall part 1a and a downwardly bent part 1b are defined as one set.
