PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caster effectively preventing sudden braking when a ground portion is suddenly grounded by lifting a rear end side of furniture too much, and preventing a caster from reversely rotating to vigorously bring down the furniture, while ensuring a caster function smoothly moving the furniture forward. SOLUTION: A switching function allowing rotations in an X-direction of a wheel 1 and prohibiting or suppressing rotations in a Y-direction is provided.
