PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tree branch shredding machine capable of stably producing chips small in particle size and capable of reducing the noise caused by a wind and the noise caused by shredding at the same time. SOLUTION: The tree branch shredding machine is equipped with a shredder 4 for shredding an object 9 to be shredded and a feed device 5 for feeding the object 9 to be shredded charged from a charging port 8a in the shredder 4. A cutter wheel 20, which is equipped with a cutter knife 25 for performing the shearing of the object 9 to be shredded and a hammer knife 29 for further finely shredding the sheared object 9 to be shredded between the cutter knife 25 and the fixed blade 37 provided to the inner surface of the shredding frame 10 of the shredder 4, is built in the shredding frame 10 of the shredder 4. An opening part is provided to the lower part of the shredding frame 10 and a screen 40 capable of discharging chips with a predetermined particle size or below is provided to the opening part.
