PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide scissors for enabling a user such as a beautician or the like to adjust a closing angle by his/herself. SOLUTION: The scissors 1 has an axis position adjusting means for relatively changing the position of a shaft core between a pair of scissor pieces 4a and 4b. The axis position adjusting means comprises a slot 20 formed in a pivoting part of one scissor piece 4a, a circular hole formed in the other scissor piece 4b, a cylinder part having smaller diameter than that of the circular hole, the shaft core having a square column part 15 which is formed at the end of the cylinder part for inserting into the slot so as to abut against an inner face of the slot and to slide longitudinally, a shaft screw hole part 16 provided on the square column part 15, a shaft screw engaged with the shaft screw hole part 16, fastening screw holes provided in a pair of inner faces on a short sides of the slot 20, and a pair of fastening screws inserted into the hole parts respectively for adjusting a position of the square column part 15 by its screwing and unscrewing.
