PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the energizing force of a restoration means and to surely perform a restoration operation by matching the direction of the energizing force of the restoration means provided in a sliding device with a direction wherein a sliding condition is excellent. SOLUTION: As a tool for performing cutting of a lathe working apparatus, in a bite B1 in Fig.3 and a bite B2 in Fig.4, at the time of defining surfaces on a rake side respectively as V1 and V2 and defining surfaces forming a relief angle respectively as T1 and T2, kerfs formed on works W1 and W2 become sawtooth shaped and are inclined in directions opposite to each other. As the sliding device, the main body casing 12 of a ventilation connector 10 is provided with a valve member 14 energized by a restoration spring 19, slide resistance is reduced by designating a sliding direction as the restoration direction of an O ring 17 mounted on the valve member 14 to the side that the surface forming the relief angle of the bite faces, and surface roughness Ra at the time is defined to be 0.2-3.2μm.
