The present invention provides a system and methods for delivering material into bone. More particularly, the present invention provides a system for treating a bone having an interior volume occupied, at least in part, by cancellous bone comprising an access instrument sized and configured to establish a percutaneous access path to bone, a cavity forming instrument sized and configured to be introduced through the percutaneous access path to form a cavity, an instrument sized and configured to pass through the percutaneous access path to introduce a material into the cavity.
