The apparatus includes a guide rail which extends linearly and having a longitudinally movable block. The movable block is composed of a block body (13) having four ball running counter-grooves (8), a resin-formed body (20) for forming ball circulation passages inserted in the block and a pair of side cover plates (40) secured to both end surfaces of the block. Each of the ball circulation passages comprises a pair of ball passage forming portions (21) extending along both longitudinal sides of the counter-grooves (8), a pair of direction changing passage-inner guide forming portions (22) disposed on both side surfaces of the block body and a resin pipe (23). The ball passage forming portions and the pair of direction changing portions are integrally formed with each other into an integral body and the resin pipe is separately formed from the integral body of the moving block. At least two portions of the ball passage forming portions, the returning passage forming portion, one of the direction changing portions and another of the direction changing portions are connected with each other through integral forming so that the resin-formed body can be built in the body of the movable block. |
