BROADCAST PROGRAM RESERVATION METHOD AND APPARATUS, DIGITAL BROADCAST RECEIVER, VIDEO IMAGE RECORDER/REPRODUCER, AND VIDEO IMAGE DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide broadcast program reservation method and instrument in which a program broadcasted in the past can be reserved easily.

SOLUTION: The method for reserving the recording of a broadcast program comprises a step for acquiring information of scheduled broadcast program, a step for setting a past program information storage period, a step for storing the information about a program broadcasted during the past program information storage period among acquired information of scheduled broadcast program as past program information, a step (S2) for displaying the past program information thus stored, steps (S3-S5) for specifying a temporary reservation program selectively from the displayed past program information, and a step for registering the temporary reservation as an actual reservation if the temporary reservation satisfy predetermined requirements.
