<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise management apparatus and method automatically identifying articles loaded on a circulating conveyer passage and automatically inputting information of the articles in an IC tag. <P>SOLUTION: This merchandise management apparatus is provided with an information registration means registering image information of articles, an image information acquisition means acquiring the image information of the articles mounted on a plate on the circulating conveyer passage continuously conveying plates, an identification means collating the image information of the articles on the circulating conveyer passage acquired by the image information acquisition means with the image information of the articles registered in the information registration means and identifying the item of the articles on the circulating conveyer passage, and a writing means writing the information of the articles identified by an identification number and the identification means in a non-contact type IC tag attached to the plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
