PURIFICATION METHOD OF MIXED GAS CONTAINING ACIDIC GAS AND ITS APPARATUS AS WELL AS ABSORPTION LIQUID OF ACIDIC GAS USED THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification method of an acidic gas which separates and recovers an acidic gas energy-savingly at a low cost in a direct liquid state by absorbing an acidic gas from a mixed gas at room temperature and simultaneously and easily effecting the regeneration of the absorption liquid and the recovery of the acidic gas.

SOLUTION: The purification method of the mixed gas containing the acidic gas comprises supplying the absorption liquid 42 mainly comprised of an organic solvent or water to the upper part of an absorption column 13 which is kept to a predetermined temperature and a predetermined pressure and supplying the mixed gas containing the acidic gas and the non-acidic gas to the lower part of the absorption column 13 to bring the mixed gas into contact with the absorption liquid. Thus, the non-acidic gas is separated from the acidic gas and recovered from the absorption column 13 by absorbing the non-acidic gas into the absorption liquid. The absorption liquid which has absorbed the acidic gas is supplied to a separation regenerator 46 of which the pressure is kept predetermined and the temperature is kept lower than that in the absorption column. Thereby, the acidic gas is liquefied. The liquefied acidic gas is separated from the absorption liquid to recover and regenerate it from the separation regenerator by means of the mutual insolubility and specific gravity difference between the liquid acidic gas 41 and the absorption liquid. Finally, the regenerated absorption liquid is supplied to the upper part of the absorption column.
