HIGH-VOLTAGE PULSE GENERATOR AND LIGHTING FIXTURE USING IT AS WELL AS VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-voltage pulse generator with a radius of rotation made smaller and performance improved, and a lighting fixture using it as well as a vehicle.

SOLUTION: The high-voltage pulse generator is provided with a pulse transformer PT made by winding a primary winding N1 and a secondary winding N2 around a core 2, a discharge lamp connecting part 31 formed of an insulating material in a bottomed cylinder shape with a front face opened and with an inside-electrode terminal 40 fitted at a bottom part 31a to be connected with a high-voltage side of the secondary winding N2, and a capacitor C for pulse generation and a discharge switch SG. The discharge lamp connecting part 31 is so arranged that its center O is located at a center line CL1 passing nearly a center part of an axis line of the pulse transformer PT (a direction of a center line CL2) crossing the axis direction, and the capacitor C as well as the discharge switch SG is arranged at a high-voltage side of the secondary winding N2 with an interposition of the discharge lamp connecting part 31 so as to be opposed to a high-voltage region HF including the inside-electrode terminal 40.
