摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an imaging apparatus by efficiently arranging a main capacitor and batteries being cylindrical imaging apparatus components. SOLUTION: Batteries 14 are each arranged side by side to be perpendicular to a camera main body 1. Batteries 14a and 14c are held in such a manner that battery plus terminals face the top of the camera and batteries 14b and 14c are held in such a manner that the battery plus terminals face the bottom. Main capacitor terminals 16a and 16b are disposed and battery terminals 15 and 19 are disposed on the tops and bottoms of the batteries 14 also. These terminals 16a, 16b, 15 and 19 are connected to a power supply board 17 over the batteries 14. A main capacitor 16 is held in parallel with the batteries 14 and a stroboscopic board 18 is arranged over the main capacitor 16. Then, the main capacitor 16 is specified to have a cylindrical shape having almost the same diameter as those of the batteries 14 and having a length shorter than those of the batteries 14. Since the length of the main capacitor 16 is shorter than those of the batteries 14, a space is formed over the main capacitor 16 when the main capacitor 16 and the batteries 14 are arranged side by side.
