PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for an automatic vending machine, capable of calculating a time spent for generating a drink while previously reducing an error, and notifying a drink purchaser or the like of a waiting time. SOLUTION: This controller has: a drink selection means 23 selecting the kind of the drink to be generated; a factor acquisition means 24 calculating a time in each process factor of the drink to be generated; a calculation means 25 calculating the generation time of the generated drink on the basis of the factors in the factor acquisition means 24; and a drink generation calculation time holding means 26 storing the drink generation time calculated by the calculation means 25.
