PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstacle detection sensor capable of appropriately adjusting sensitivity according to situation. SOLUTION: The obstacle detection sensor consists of a Doppler sensor 2 for sending out electromagnetic wave of predetermined frequency, detecting reflected wave of the electromagnetic wave reflected by an obstacle and outputting a signal of frequency corresponding to speed of the obstacle, a signal processing part 3 to 5 for receiving the output signal of the Doppler sensor 2 and transmitting the output signal using an amplification factor which differs from a frequency band to another and a detection part 6, 7 for receiving the output signal of the signal processing part 3 to 5 and detecting whether the obstacle exists or not based on intensity of the output signal.
