PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition which has a high tanδat temperatures near to 0°C and 30°C, and a low tanδat temperature near to 60°C, and can improve the dry performance, wet performance and low fuel cost of tires. SOLUTION: This rubber composition is characterized by comprising 100 pts.mass of (A) a rubber component comprising styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber, 20 to 70 pts.mass of (B) at least one filler selected from the group consisting of carbon black and white fillers, 0 to 30 pts.mass of (C) a softener, and 3 to 30 pts, mass of (D) a styrenic (co)polymer having a weight-average mol.wt. of 2×10<SP>3</SP>to 50×10<SP>3</SP>converted into polystyrene and containing one or more styrene derivative units.
