PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant resin composition having high flame retardancy, without using a halogen-based flame retardant nor a phosphorus-based flame retardant, when the resin composition is given by using graphite. SOLUTION: This flame-retardant resin composition comprises (A) a thermoplastic resin (component A) in an amount of 100 pts.wt., (B) the graphite having an average particle diameter of 5 to 300μm (component B) in an amount of 5-100 pts.wt., and (C) an organic sulfonic acid alkali (earth) metal salt (component C) in an amount of 0.001-1 pt.wt.
