PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winch structure capable of preventing a belt from slipping off undeliberately when it is to be drawn out. SOLUTION: A drive motor is operated in the reverse direction by turning on an electromagnetic clutch (T1-T2) so as to draw out the belt from a drum. In a case the residual amount of the belt wound on a takeup shaft lessens to reach the prescribed value, a microswitch of a wound amount sensor is actuated (T2), so that an electric brake is applied by the drive motor in the condition that electromagnetic clutch 24 is operated, and drawing-out of the belt from the drum is braked. Immediately after, a solenoid of a ratchet mechanism is turned off, and a rachet wheel installed on the shaft of the drum and an engaging pawl are engaged, and the rotation of the drum in the belt drawout direction is hindered (T3). Then the takeup shaft 41 stops rotating, and drawing-out of the belt 34 can be hindered. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
