<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector manufactured by a simple and inexpensive method suitable for mass production and in a state of impedance matching of contacts being kept. <P>SOLUTION: This connector is provided with the contacts 11 and an insulating housing 21 for holding the contacts 11. Each contact 11 includes dielectric bodies 13, signal contacts 15 and ground contacts 17. Each ground contact 17 is made of a metal plate, a plurality of recessed grooves 17a are formed on the metal plate; the dielectric bodies 13 are arranged in the recessed grooves 17a, and the signal contacts 15 are arranged on the dielectric body 13 on the opening side of each recessed groove 17a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
