<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic board which is light in weight, good in productivity and excellent in appearance. <P>SOLUTION: The lightweight inorganic board having a three-layered structure consisting of front and rear layers, and a core layer is provided by using a cement-based inorganic material which causes rapid hydraulic reaction as a hydraulic inorganic material. The lightweight inorganic board is produced by a semi-drying method in which a raw material mixture is sprayed onto the substrate to form a mat, which is compressed, cured and hardened in the presence of moisture to form a green sheet, which is fired. The cement-based inorganic material is used as the hydraulic inorganic material as mentioned above, and therefore, even if the time for the compressing, curing and hardening is short, the strength of the green sheet is increased, and the cutting work is made easier by setting the bending strength of the green sheet to ≥2.5 N/mm<SP>2</SP>.
