<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer with an equipment estimating function of a computer system corresponding to a budget securement situation of a customer. <P>SOLUTION: An estimation support program specifies higher-order equipment satisfying a necessary condition to equipment the actual result value of which does not satisfies the necessary condition, and lower-order equipment satisfying a necessary condition even if downgrade is performed to the equipment the actual result value of which satisfies the necessary condition as compared between actual result values of processing capabilities and the necessary conditions of the preset processing capabilities for each set of equipment constituting the computer system. The program calculates a satisfaction rate that is a rate of satisfaction of the necessary condition of the processing capability to the lower-order equipment. When a money amount required to introduce the higher-order equipment does not satisfy preset budget conditions, the program calculates a money amount of a difference from current equipment in the case of downgrade in the order from the equipment with higher satisfaction rate among the lower-order equipment, and outputs estimation of the equipment constituting the computer system in the case in which the money amount of the difference becomes equal to or larger than the required money amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
