<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide frequency synthesizers capable of conducting frequency conversion for a higher frequency at low-noise with finer resolution. <P>SOLUTION: A frequency synthesizer 100 compares phase difference between an output frequency of a VCO (Voltage Control Oscillator) 111 and an output frequency of a reference VCO 110 at an integrated circuit 112, and generates a first frequency. A frequency synthesizer 300 compares phase difference between an output frequency of a VCO 120 and the output frequency of the reference VCO 110 at an integrated circuit 121, and generates a third frequency. A frequency synthesizer 200 compares phase difference between a converted frequency and the output frequency of the reference VCO 110 at an integrated circuit 118 the frequency is converted by each output frequency of a VCO 114, the frequency synthesizer 100, and the frequency synthesizer 300, and generates a second frequency. Each of the frequency synthesizers 100, 200, and 300 conducts frequency conversion by a local signals with phase noise respectively offset mutually. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
