<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of reducing steering torque of a driver in abnormality of a control system of an electric motor. <P>SOLUTION: This electric power steering device 10 is constituted capable of carrying out steering assist by actuating a main driver 43A when a control system of the electric motor 20 is normal and carrying out auxiliary assist equivalent to motor friction torque by actuating an auxiliary driver 43B when the control system of the electric motor 20 is abnormal by winding main coils 101A, 102A, 103A and auxiliary coils 101B, 102B, 103B around the same slot of a stator core in parallel and providing a motor driving means 43 with the main driver 43A to feed electric power to at least the main coils 101A, 102A, 103A and the auxiliary driver 43B to feed electric power only to the auxiliary coils 101B, 102B, 103B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
