<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translucent type liquid crystal display device capable of further improving an aperture ratio of pixels while keeping light reflectivity of the pixels high. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device of the present invention has a translucent film (186) as a substrate for a pixel electrode (190). The translucent film (186) includes a lens film (188) and a plurality of light reflecting elements (189). Light incident on the translucent film (186) from the pixel electrode (190) is refracted by the surface of the lens film (188) to converge on the light reflecting elements (189), which reflect it to the incidence direction. Light incident on the translucent film (186) after being transmitted through a substrate (110) of a TFT panel (100), on the other hand, is transmitted through the lens film (188) as it is without being reflected by the light reflecting elements (189). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
