PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid intrusion of developer on a developer carrier into a magnetic material seal member 2 by rotation of the developer carrier by making an end face in the axial center of the magnetic material seal member close to a right angle with the axial center of the developer carrier even when the magnetic material seal member is inclined and attached to the axial center of the developer carrier. SOLUTION: In a process cartridge equipped with a developing device having a developing container which holds the developer around an image carrier and a developer carrier which conveys the developer to the image carrier and a charging container which holds conductive magnetic particles, the developing device has the magnetic material seal member arranged on the same axis as the developer carrier and the magnetic material seal member is the one constituted by inclining and forming the end face of the axial center direction of the magnetic material seal member to a face at a right angle with the axial center of the developer carrier aslant.
