PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic tone sheet which does not generate cracks in a metallic layer and can give successful metalescence, even when a deep-draw metallic tone shaped body is manufactured by vacuum molding or insert molding, and a method for manufacturing the metallic tone shaped body which is free from cracks in the metallic layer and has successful metalescence. SOLUTION: This metallic tone sheet 1 comprises a base material layer 11 formed of a resin film, a resin anchor layer 12, a composite layer 13 formed of a metal dispersed in a part of the resin anchor layer 12 and a metal layer 14 adjacent to the composition layer 13. Besides, the composite layer 13 and the metallic layer 14 are layers obtained by physically vapor-depositing a metal on the surface of the resin anchor layer 12. In this sheet 1, the shear modulus of the resin anchor layer 12 during a vapor deposition process is 5.0×10<SP>6</SP>to 5.0×10<SP>8</SP>Pa, and the metal particle energy vaporized during the vapor deposition process is not less than 1 eV.
