PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use a plurality of network maps with different positions and number of nodes, and network maps with time varying costs in route searching. SOLUTION: The navigation system 1 includes a bicycle 100 with a navigator, a GPS satellite 103 and a map administration center 203. The map administration center 203 includes a map server 204 and a map database 205. The map server 204 receives a request message of route searching from the bicycle 100 with the navigator. The server 204 performs route-searching computation using network maps stored in a map database 205 and transmits the result information of route searching to a terminal 102. In this case, route-searching computation is performed in consideration of time varying costs. When there are different positions and number of nodes in a plurality of network maps concerning searching criteria, setting dummy nodes on network maps with no corresponding node enables addition of costs.
