PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable suction vehicle equipped with a freely removable suction container. SOLUTION: This suction vehicle is furnished with a hydraulic coupler 86 to connect a hydraulic circuit 92 of the suction container and a hydraulic circuit 85 of the vehicle, an electric connector 99 to connect an electric circuit 97 of the suction container and an electric circuit 98 of the vehicle, a loading detection sensor 101 to detect whether the suction container is loaded on the vehicle or not, a connection detection sensor 102 to detect whether at least one of the hydraulic coupler 86 and the electric connector 99 is connected or not and a safety device 110. The safety device 110 regulates motion of a tilt mechanism 103 when the suction container is loaded on the vehicle, prevents releasing of the suction container when the hydraulic coupler 86, etc. are connected and actuates an alarm device 105 when the suction container is loaded on the vehicle and the electric connector 99 is not connected.
