PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process a short timber without changing the structure of a carrying-in conveyer and a line conveyer and also to simplify the structure of a short timber-exclusive processing machine to the minimum as needed thereby to reduce the equipment cost. SOLUTION: The equipment consists of a precut processing unit main body A and a short timber-exclusive processing machine 7 which is installed next to the main body A and processes a short timber having the length not permitting conveyance to the main body A. The precut processing unit main body A applies the processing to be applied on the short timber and capable of being applied by the unit main body A to a long timber having the length allowing conveyance to the main body A. The short timber-exclusive processing machine 7 cuts the long timber into the length of the short timber and applies the remaining processing not applied by the main body A.
