PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and exactly monitor the conditions of molding machines. SOLUTION: A device comprises a drive part driven for operating the molding machine, a first detection part P1 detecting a first variable m1 simultaneously with the driving of the drive part, a second detection part P2 detecting a second variable m2, and a transmission characteristic judgement means judging transmission characteristics in a transmission route Rt between the first and second detection parts P1 and P2 based on the first and second variables m1 and m2. Since the transmission characteristics in the transmission route Rt between the first and second detection parts P1 and P2 are judged on the basis of the first and second variables m1 and m2, even when all the molding machines are different from each other and used in different conditions, the conditions of the molding machines can be monitored easily and exactly.
