PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low pressure casting apparatus with which a cast product having further stable quality can be obtained by restraining the lowing of molten metal temperature in an intermediate stoke in the low pressure casting apparatus so as to cast the molten metal without heating from the outer part. SOLUTION: In the low pressure casting apparatus for performing the casting by feeding molten aluminum 2 in a molten metal vessel 1 into a metallic mold 7 through a stoke 4 and the intermediate stoke A, the intermediate stoke has the structure, in which in order to dispense with a heater at the outer part, the inside of the intermediate stoke A is lined with a refractory heat-insulating material B provided with non-wetness, erosion resistance and heat insulation to the molten metal and also, an inorganic material C adjusting and absorbing the heat expansion difference between the outer shell material (casing) 8 and the refractory heat insulating material B, is inserted between them.
