PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container washing device which effectively secures a predetermined detergency by a definite and excellent washing and merely requires a smaller installation space. SOLUTION: In the container that treats a container body 7 having a lid 11 in treating chambers 1-6 partitioned by treatment process such as draining, the system is provided with a body conveying means 9 that is provided by penetrating the chambers 1-6 and intermittently conveys the body 7 with its opening side positioned downwardly and a lid conveying means 12 that is disposed in parallel with the means 9 and conveys the lid 11 with it held in almost upright position so as to allow its front/backside surfaces to be positioned in a horizontal direction while synchronizing with the means 9, a washing nozzle and a draining nozzle are disposed to perform jetting towards the front/backside surfaces of the lid 11 and the inner/outer surfaces of the body 7.
