PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a token slotting detecting device that can prevent a game from being played dishonestly without properly slotting a token. SOLUTION: The medal slotting detecting device is provided with a pathway through which a token can slide or fall down and a sensor for detecting medal installed on the pathway. The sensor is equipped with a plurality of light emitting elements and light receiving elements individually corresponding to the light emitting elements. Each light receiving element only receives a signal transmitted by the corresponding light emitting element and the signal output from each light emitting element is controlled in a way that it is transmitted at random.
