APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SYNCHRONIZING TRANSMISSION/RECEIPT IN WIRELESS CHANNEL MEASURING SYSTEM

A transmitting/receiving synchronization device in a radio channel sounder and a method thereof are provided to enable the radio channel sounder having multiple antennas to synchronize operating time of spatially separated transmit/receive antennas with transmitted/received time of data, without equipping a GPS(Global Positioning System) receiver. A transmission reference signal generator(30) generates a 1PPS signal based on the first reference signal, and delivers the generated signal. A receiving synchronizer(40) compares a 1PPS signal, generated on the basis of the second reference signal, with the 1PPS signal delivered from the transmission reference signal generator(30), to adjust reception synchronization, and outputs a frame synchronous signal and an antenna control signal as the reception synchronization is conducted.
