<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame synchronization detection method for detecting a symbol timing by reducing an operation amount relating to the detection of a synchronous word, and detecting the synchronous word from reception signals constituted of a frame including the synchronous word and quadrature-modulated. <P>SOLUTION: The frame synchronization detection method has: a process of performing sampling in a cycle of K times (K is a positive number ≥2) of the symbol rate of the reception signals; a process of demultiplexing the reception signals to N pieces (N is a positive integer ≥2 and ≤K) of sample signals; a process of turning the N pieces of sample signals to a binarized bit sequence corresponding to a phase in orthogonal coordinates; and a process of obtaining the bit correlation value of the N pieces of sample signals turned to the bit sequence for the bit sequence of a known synchronous word, detecting the synchronous word when the bit correlation value exceeds a prescribed threshold, and detecting the symbol timing corresponding to the sample signal when the bit correlation value is highest among the N pieces of sample signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
