<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the conventional problems that heat released from a motor protector body part cannot be dissipated since the motor protector body is fixed to a coil end part in an air tight state by a sleeve insulating paper, and that the deterioration of service life of the protector itself and the drop in the maximum continuous current value are caused since temperature rise of the motor protector body part increased due to lack of the cooling effect by a gas flow. <P>SOLUTION: In a lateral scroll compressor, a motor protector means and a coil end are mounted therein by integrating and fixing the lower end surface of the motor protector means and the upper part of the motor coil end by a binding string through the medium of an insulating sheet means. While improving service life of the protector itself through the promotion of the cooling effect, an operation range of the compressor is widened by increasing operation current. In addition, reliability of the protector is improved, which leads to enhancement of reliability as a whole of the compressor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
