<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the speed of a processing time and improve a separation accuracy when separating and extracting a single neuron activity waveform from raw waveforms measured by a tetrode. <P>SOLUTION: A spike waveform extraction part 10 extracts spike waveforms from a plurality of raw waveforms measured from neurocyte by a tetrode constituted of a plurality of recording electrodes. A cluster waveform generation part 12 generates a plurality of cluster waveforms from the spike waveforms based on an expectation maximization algorithm. An independent component waveform extraction part 13 generates a plurality of independent component waveforms from the plurality of cluster waveforms based on an independent component analysis method. When prescribed conditions are satisfied, a single neuron activity waveform extraction part 15 extracts the single neuron activity waveform by connecting mutually similar waveforms together out of the plurality of independent component waveforms.
