<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift register which can be constituted of single conduction type transistors and in which a shift direction can be reversed and a display apparatus in which the shift register is used for a drive circuit of a pixel array. <P>SOLUTION: When a pulse signal is inputted to a first input node Ti1, a shift stage SR(j)(j=1 to N) becomes a first state in which the pulse signal is outputted in accordance with a clock signal, when a pulse signal is inputted to a second input node Ti2, it becomes a second state in which pulse output is stopped. In a first operation mode, a switch part SW(j) connects an output of the shift stage SR(j-1) and the first input node Ti1 of the shift stage SR(j) and connects an output of the shift stage SR(j+1) and the second input node Ti2 of the shift stage SR(j). In a second operation mode, the switch part SW(j) connects an output of the shift stage SR(j+1) and the first input node Ti1 of the shift stage SR(j) and connects an output of the shift stage SR(j-1) and the second input node Ti2 of the shift stage SR(j). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
