MEDICAL IMAGE CONTROL SERVER AND MEDICAL IMAGE CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image control server and a medical image control method by which medical image data whose transfer is to be requested probably can be stored in an internal storage device while securing a free capacity of the internal storage device.

SOLUTION: The server is provided with a judging means (12) which receives transfer schedule information showing whether transferring of medical image data stored in the internal storage device (14) is possible and which judges whether erasure of the medical image data stored in the internal storage device is possible based on the transfer schedule information; and a control means (11) which keeps the medical image data judged to be not erasable by the judgment to be stored in the internal storage device as it is and which carries out processing of transmitting the medical image data judged to be erasable by the judgment to the external storage device and erasing it from the internal storage device.
