PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time-of-flight type mass spectrometer, for example, the spectrometer having a circling orbit, capable of obtaining a number of circling of ion as a base of respective peaks appearing in a time-of-flight spectrum with high precision, and accurately obtaining mass number of respective ions even when a sample containing many components is analyzed. SOLUTION: At a data processing part, a peak originated in identical ion is searched by comparing a center time of the peak on the time-of-flight spectrum depending on two times of measurements performed by changing condition of analysis (S3), and in case that an undiscriminating peak exists (N at S4), the peak originated in identical ion is searched depending on similarity of the shape of the peak (for example, full width at half maximum) (S5). When corresponding relation of all peaks becomes clear, mass number of respective ions are roughly estimated depending on the difference of time-of flight (S6), and the number of circling in the circling orbit is decided depending on the estimated value (S7), afterwards, the accurate mass number is decided depending on the number of circling and the time-of-flight (S8).
