PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap member which can miniaturize a liquid jetting head and a whole apparatus by narrowing the spacing of nozzles train provided on the nozzle-plate surface of the liquid jetting head and reduce its cost while being able to certainly seal the nozzle-plate surface even if pressing the cap member to the nozzle-plate surface with small force, and a liquid jetting apparatus equipped with the cap member. SOLUTION: The first annular lip section 31 is formed in the rim of the body section 35 of the cap member 30, and the second annular lip section 32 is formed inside the first lip section 35 independently from the body section 35. A plurality of nozzle trains provided on the nozzle-plate surface of the recording head are sealed at the time of suction operation to recover the delivery capacity and of un-recording by connecting the first lip section 31 and the second lip section 32 to the recording head.
