PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup device which can provide high resolution with a single plate. SOLUTION: An imaging data obtained with an image sensor CCD3 not relatively displaced against a subject image formed with an optics system 1 and an imaging data obtained with the image sensor CCD3 relatively displaced in horizontal and vertical directions through a displacement mechanism 9 such as a piezo element or the like are merged to obtain one image data.
